Akira did very well in surgery today

Akira did very well in surgery today and is sedated and on various pain medications at the moment. They removed the entire leg and scapula to be confident they got all the cancer. Further, her shoulder muscles were so atrophied from 4 months of non-use she would have also had problems down the road with her shoulder. Her doctor and surgeon were very happy with how well the surgery went and how she is doing. Hoping she stays sedated through the night to keep her comfortable then back to doctor's office for monitoring for the day. Thank you to everyone who sent prayers and welcome more tonight that she rest peacefully. Dr. Feinberg said that things couldn't have gone any smoother today and I include the collective intentions and prayers in this outcome. Much gratitude <3
