Akira update - body shakes

Akira update: she has full body shaking episodes at times and wasn't sure if it was due to pain or anxiety. Juls, checked in intuitively with Akira and it is primarily her grieving the loss of her leg and being worried that I would think she was less now that she has only 3 legs.

Heart breaking. She recommended I spend time reassuring Akira that she'll learn some new ways of moving with her body and life and it will be okay AND that I love her just as much now as before she lost her leg and that I don't think of her as limited or less than as a dog.

The truth: I love her more, am deeply inspired by her courage and strength, and believe she'll bring inspiration to many others as we experience joy together and live full of life!
