Akira update ~ I believe we have turned a corner!

After an extremely challenging weekend and Monday morning where her pain patch expired watching her shake in pain for days increasing as the weekend progressed, we have found a balance between pain meds and healing.

Dr. Feinberg told me this morning that Akira is special and in over 33 years as a vet and also clinic owner Akira is the most sensitive dog he has ever treated. Of course she is :)

Akira is highly sensitive, intuitive, and an empath, and very energetically attuned - what comes with that is sensitivities to drugs and pain. As an empath and h.s.p. (highly sensitive person) myself she is like me and responds best to energy medicine and drugs challenge her body. This surgery, removing a limb, is huge for anyone and for sensitive souls and bodies even more so.

Next step will be to re-integrate my preferred integrative approach with laser therapy, Chinese medicine, and homeopathy. Eventually water therapy for rehab and to support living on 3 legs and musculoskeltal balance. Of course also continuing energy healing sessions from her mom.
