Looking at some of Akira's pics today. Last week I moved all the pictures of her cancer and amputation in its own folder. Another step in the healing process. Still hard to see her missing a leg and I prefer to see her healthy and happy. Akira tells me to remember the good times and she doesn't want her life defined by the last year of her life (though she says that time had purpose, was part of our life together, and there was so much love). Here's one of her sweet willful personality. Trying to get her to get up and take a walk. She is just as determined in Spirit, though now it is all about love. ❤
