The spider toxins caused a cancerous tumor

Friends, I know many of you have been following Akira's health over the past nearly 4 months. I've been very quiet as you've probably noticed since my last post of her going in to remove the lump of spider toxins on her leg. I just didn't have it in me to share at the time.

It's a very difficult time right now as the spider toxins caused a cancerous tumor on her leg. Thankfully we've been able to keep the toxins isolated to the leg with some amazing care and support and the cancer, a soft tissue sarcoma, while aggressive in the localized area causing much pain is slow growing up the leg and hasn't spread.

I deeply hesitated about sharing this on Facebook until after the surgery as it is VERY important to me that ONLY positive energy and mindset is held to support Akira's healing. Please respond with positive thoughts and posts only and refrain from fears or cancer stories. Thoughts and energy are very powerful creators and we want the most positive thoughts supporting Akira going into her surgery. Thank you for honoring that request.

Having said that, we definitely very much welcome healing prayers, energy, and even financial donations. If you feel called, any donations to help cover Akira's rising health costs (already at $7k and with surgery and aftercare it is projected to exceed $15k) would be very much appreciated.

Before Akira's surgery I willed myself (I was strongly intuitively guided) to create a website for her. Not an easy thing to do in the midst of heart break, but my love for her kept me focused and it helped me to feel empowered - anything I could do to support her and make this experience have meaning for her sweet sweet soul and life's purpose.

I will do my best as inspired to post status updates and share on her Facebook page (please "Like" her page to be sure you receive them). Please understand that I will likely not respond to posts at times, especially after Akira's surgery where she will need extensive health care for at least 2 weeks 24/7. As I am intuitively guided to maintain this website and share posts along the way, I'll do my best to listen and follow it.
