I am in awe of the power of essential oils for healing

akira and me
I am in awe of the power of essential oils for healing. <3 When Akira crossed the rainbow bridge I researched grief and the grieving process. During this time, I ran across this chart on Young Living oils and the grieving process. The primary oils I diffused while grieving Akira were Lavendar, Joy, and Rose. Besides relaxing me, they gave me peace, helped me to fall right to sleep, and unbeknownst to me were powerful emotional releases. I am certain the oils greatly supported the emotional release with grace during deep periods of sorrow being released. There were also periods of time during grieving that my hips were so "locked up" as stored emotions came up for release and the oils certainly supported their release (amongst other things such as epsom salt baths, etc.) The amazing benefit was long time emotional blocks and sorrow (unrelated to Akira) were also excavated which resulted in the lifting of living with a chronic unconscious anger being held in my body. Emotions are not discriminant, when accessed they can come from many experiences not just the current one. As referenced in previous posts, my "inaccessible" emotion was sorrow and my "easily accessible" emotion was anger. I continue to learn so much about stored emotional energy. Recently I've been feeling a lot of physical pain again after losing my brother and dealing with childhood traumas brought up while in Montana. Last night I was called to diffuse Lavendar, Joy, and 3 Wise Men (a combination oil) and the release was palatable. Plus, I have to thank my beloved Akira for her energetic support. :) I could feel my muscles relaxing and drifted into a deep night sleep with peace and comfort. Feeling grateful as this reaffirms just how powerful essential oils can be for healing. <3 p.s. I really wish I had the source so I could give the author credit but at the time I was not so clear thinking and just snagged the image for personal use. In deciding to share this I feel it is too important not to share so sending love and gratitude energetically to the author. <3
