Next phase of Akira healing from the spider bite 2 months ago. Water physical therapy!
Latest status: Chinese medicine detox ended this week. Poisons localized in leg. Antibiotic to get rid of infection. Laser therapy, pain meds, chinese medicines, antibiotics, probiotics...and now physical...
This is what you do when your dog is hopping on 3 legs and healing her paw. Spider bite update: 8 xrays, expensive vet bill, weekly laser therapy, Chinese herbs, pain meds and reiki for a month.

Both of our vets use these now to help dogs be calm and feel safe. They really work!

Nature time! Ever since Akira hurt her leg our morning "walk" has become a park visit. She loves it and it's good for me, too!

Akira's new "pillow" (cone alternative) to help keep her from licking her wounded leg. It's time for her to be able to walk again and licking it won't let her heal. Hoping she won't be able to reach her leg and will be comfortable sleeping, etc.

Could you move this blissed out doggie from the yoga mat? (and when she has a hurt leg and trouble walking). I don't think so, I am surveying the mat to figure out how I can fit on there too to stretch) ;)
