Tough night with Akira. It just breaks my heart every time I hear her yelping in pain. First weekend after surgery with multiple days at home without pain patch change. Opted to give her a sedative to help her stay calm and limit pain build up.

Been a long day with ups and downs, but mostly ups! Took Akira to the vet again for the day to monitor her, do laser therapy, change bandages/pain patch, etc. She was supposed to again spend the whole day there and they were so happy with her progress they were happy to release her early.
